- DAYANG NURUL IZZATI BINTI AWANG MASRA (69472)
My name is Dayang Nurul Izzati. I am 21 years old. My birthplace is a Klinik Kesihatan Maludam and was born on 1st July 1999. I live in a Maludam village. I’ll give you a little bit of information about my family. My dad’s name is Awang Masra. He passed away when I was 10 years old. He was a teacher at a primary school before that. He was born on 5 Jun 1969. He is a loving and resolute person. About my mom, her name is Sopia. My mom is a self-employed person. She was born on 11 October 1974. She was friendly mom and kind. I have four siblings and I am the third child. In my siblings, I was the only girl.
When I was in primary school I went to SK Maludam. During last years in this school, I stayed in the hostel because there were so many lesson-related activities for UPSR student. In fact, most of my friends live in the hostel. I took the UPSR exam there and I got good results. After that, my family moved to Saratok at my the age of 13. I went to full boarding school. I continued to study at SMK Agama Saratok. At 15, we were the first group to use the PT3 test after PMR conversion. It was a shock to our school, because we don’t know how to do it. But we’ve worked hard to make a good result. At SPM level, I took art class. We have created a sculpture, which is the theme of the movement. After facing SPM, I have chosen to continue my studies as a form 6 student at the same school. I took the STPM in 2017/2018 and got good pointer in the final result.
In this life, I think I have a lot of goals. At university, I want to get a good result in a degree in cognitive science. I want to change the future of my family life. Live happily in the future with all person I loved. My life’s motto is ‘keep going, even if you’re in trouble‘ .
MILESTONE

Kampung Maludam had been divided by three main areas which are kampung hulu, kampung tengah and kampung hilir. On Eid Mubarak celebration we have our own culture like as we held an open house from kampung hilir on first day followed by kampung tengah on the next day and kampung hulu for the last one. This culture is a must for us when we celebrate Eid Mubarak. This culture give us the opportunities to gather around and forging friendship among the villagers.

Saratok Regatta Festival is a huge festival and a center of people attention. The festival will be held once in 3 years. There are many activities at that time. The main activity that attracts people is boat racing. The other states also participate in those activities.
I have many festivals in and out of the area because my mother like to visiting lively places like this. This was probably because my mother was lonely because we are her children were not often with her because we lived in the hostel.

This is a picture of my STPM graduation days in 2018. I continued my studies as a stpm student because it had low cost than university. In fact, my mother did not allow me to continue studying at Semenanjung Malaysia because it’s so far away even if I get an offer. But that’s okay, because I already plan to continue my study in STPM. I chose STPM because it takes less time and less cost. A lot of expectations and challenges in my school days. Good results are obtained and wonderful memories are created.

After receiving UPU, I was able to continue my studies at UNIMAS. At UNIMAS, I lived in a provided residential college. Staying in college wasn’t so hard for me because I’ve lived in the dormitory for a long time before. Staying in a hostel or college residence taught me a lot of people’s attitudes. For the first semester, I was a little hard on the lessons because lecturers teach in English, because I used to learn in Malay language in every subject in the past. But, I’m still trying to make great results.
REFLECTION
Young adulthood stage according to Erik Erikson’s stages in human development. We changed our attitude toward our parents from only childish attitudes to adult relationships. We will also distinguish the more important things in life and we start trying to be independent without our parent helps.
Keep learning a new thing to understand the meaning of life. I’m also making a lot of judgments to make the best decisions. We change because things around us keep changing based on the situation.
CONCLUSION
As we grow older, many things we have learned and the many challenges we face. Everything we face, teaches us to be better in the future.
